2024 Annual Project Progress Summary Meeting

On January 23, 2025, the annual project progress summary meeting of the National Key Research and Development Program project "In-situ Real-time Monitoring Sensor of Tool Condition in Machine Tool Cutting Working Condition and Application Demonstration", led by Sunde Cutting Tools (Changxing) Technology Co., Ltd. and with Professor Cao Huajun from Chongqing University as the project leader, was successfully held in Shanghai.

Co-progression·Heart to heart

Professor Sun Dao-heng from Xiamen University, Professor Zhu Li-min from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Researcher Gao Gong-shang Hong-mo from Chengdu Tool Research Institute Co., Ltd. attended this meeting as members of the expert group.

Representatives and experts from Songde Cutting Tools (Changxing) Technology Co., Ltd., Chongqing University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shandong University, Aerospace Materials and Processes Institute, Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, and Lin Ding Optics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., totaling 32 people, attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice Director Hu Weida of the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor Cao Huajun, the project leader, delivered welcome speeches, extending a warm welcome to all the participants. Subsequently, the project and the leaders of each sub-project presented their annual progress reports in turn, detailing the research achievements, technological breakthroughs, and challenges faced in the past year.

Unite hearts and minds to promote development; solid progress to create the future

In the afternoon, each participating unit further reported on the annual progress, followed by communication and discussion, during which experts put forward professional inquiries and suggestions, and a consensus was reached on the minutes of the meeting. Finally, the meeting clarified the main work arrangements for this year's project, pointing out the direction for subsequent research.

The successful holding of this meeting not only comprehensively summarized the phased achievements of the project, but also provided a platform for communication and cooperation among the participating units, which is of great significance for promoting the development of tool condition monitoring technology in machine tool cutting conditions.
