On June 12, 2023, the launch and implementation plan demonstration meeting for the "Intelligent Sensor" key project of the "14th Five Year Plan" national key research and development plan, led by Songde Tool (Changxing) Technology Co., Ltd. and led by Professor Cao Huajun from Chongqing University, was successfully held in Changxing, Zhejiang. The meeting was conducted through a combination of online and offline methods.
More than 60 relevant leaders, including Chen Zhili and Zhang Lei, directors of the High tech Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Professor Sun Daoheng from Xiamen University, project responsibility expert, Lou Xinming, deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Li Lingfeng and Cao Xiongfei, directors of the Huzhou Science and Technology Bureau, and Zhou Weiling, deputy county magistrate of Changxing County People's Government, as well as experts from the project expert group and representatives of project participating units, attended the meeting.
The conference invited Professor Tan Jianrong from Zhejiang University, Professor Sun Daoheng from Xiamen University, Researcher Cheng Jiangong from Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology, Chairman Shang Hongmo from Chengdu Tool Research Institute Co., Ltd., Professor Li Qinchuan and Professor Liu Qiang from Zhejiang University of Technology, Professor Dong Linxi from Hangzhou University of Electronic Science and Technology, Secretary General Tian Liang from China Machinery Industry Metal Cutting Tool Technology Association, Chairman Ding Guozhi, Vice Minister Sun Xiaofeng, and Director Yang Hong from the Institute of Mechanical Manufacturing Technology to serve as experts in the project implementation plan demonstration expert group.
Chairman He Zhenhu of Songde Tools first delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the leading unit and project team, expressing warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to the experts and leaders who attended the meeting; Vice County Mayor Zhou Weiling congratulated Songde Tools, as a representative of small and medium-sized enterprises in Changxing County, for achieving a breakthrough in the approval of the national key research and development plan for the first time, and expressed strong support for the smooth implementation of this project; Deputy Director Lou Xinming congratulated and affirmed the approval and implementation of the project on behalf of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology in his speech; Director Chen Zhili put forward specific requirements for project organization and management, implementation plan demonstration, and achievement quality management. Professor Sun Daoheng, as the project responsibility expert, hopes that the project unit will attach great importance to project execution management, fully leverage the advantages of each unit to collaborate in tackling problems, solve national scientific and technological innovation needs, and complete project research tasks with quality and quantity guaranteed.
Academician Tan Jianrong, the leader of the project expert group, presided over the demonstration of the implementation plan. This project is jointly undertaken by 9 units including Songde Tools (Changxing), Chongqing University, Shandong University, Chengdu Tool Testing Institute, and Linding Optics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Firstly, Professor Cao Huajun, the project leader, provided a detailed introduction to the overall objectives, task arrangement, and implementation plan of the project. He emphasized that this project will address the challenges of real-time monitoring and wear compensation of tool status in situ, break through key technologies such as sensor embedded integration packaging, tool status identification and calculation, and high-precision wear compensation in situ, develop "sensing computing control" integrated intelligent tool components and systems, and form application demonstrations such as high-precision optical component precision machining, providing important means and support for green and intelligent manufacturing of high-end equipment in China. Then the four project leaders provided detailed explanations and reports on the implementation plans of each project.
The attending experts comprehensively discussed and exchanged ideas on the implementation plans of the project and four specific topics based on further inquiries. They delved into the research and development difficulties, specific indicators, testing plans, industrialization, and promotion and application, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on the project implementation. After expert guidance, Q&A, and discussion on the project implementation plan, the members of the expert group unanimously agreed that the goals proposed in the project implementation plan are clear, the content is comprehensive, the technical route and research methods are scientifically feasible, the key nodes and plan arrangements are orderly and reasonable, the organizational management and work system are standardized and complete, and meet the management requirements of key special projects in the national key R&D plan. They unanimously agreed that the implementation plan has passed the demonstration.
Finally, Professor Cao Huajun, on behalf of the project team, once again expressed gratitude to all experts and leaders for their attendance, and stated that they will fully digest and absorb the opinions and suggestions put forward by all experts. Based on further demonstration, they will make modifications and improvements to the existing implementation plan to reduce project implementation risks. All participating units will work closely together to ensure that the project is implemented as planned and strive to achieve better application demonstration effects.
The convening of this conference marks the official launch of the national key research and development plan "Intelligent Sensors" key special project "In situ Real time Monitoring Sensor and Application Demonstration of Machine Tool Cutting Condition Tool Status", laying the foundation for the smooth and orderly development of the project.
